Plants and Zodiac Signs

Hello Gardeners!

The “Moon and Garden” application uses the zodiac to give you more effective advice when gardening. It is therefore important to know how to use it and which plants and fruits are ideal to plant according to the zodiac sign of the period.

What is the Zodiac?

The constellations of the zodiac have been observed by man since ancient times. During its revolution around the Earth, the Moon passes successively in front of the 12 constellations of the Zodiac. These are groups of stars of varying sizes to which men have given names such as Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. The signs and constellations of the Zodiac are indicated in the curves of the Lunar Calendar. These signs are classified according to the four elements: air, water, fire and earth.

The Air Signs :

If the Moon is in the constellation of Aquarius, Gemini, or Libra, the days will be more favorable for flowers such as dahlia, sunflower but also coliflower.

This position determines the “flower days”.

Water Signs:

If the Moon is in the constellation of Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, the days will be more favorable for leaves and stems such as lettuce, spinach and hedge bushes.

This position determines the “leaf days”

Fire Signs:

If the Moon is in the constellation of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo, the days will be more favorable for fruits and seeds like apples, beans, and peas.

This position determines the “fruit and seeds days”.

Earth Signs:

If the Moon is in the constellation of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo, the days will be more favorable for roots and bark like carrots, radishes, celery root...

This position determines the “root days”.
